TaKe SoMe TiMe To...

...StOp AnD sMeLl ThE rOSeS!

And that's just what we did! I love roses and I am lucky enough to have lots of them planted out front. It was time to cut them back today so Colton cut Kesli one and I snapped a few pics! I know, so proud of me for remembering the camera:) Grandma Betty was just a smilin' down on us tonight! She too loved flowers!

I'm hoping one day soon Kesli will actually look at me and smile for pics instead of me always getting crazy looks and the back of her head!

Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day to our daddy and my hubby! He is so good to us. Colton's mom and dad and sisters came over on Saturday and we had a little BBQ and let the kiddos play. They had lots of fun! I didn't take any pics:( of the day but wanted to post some of my most recent favorite pics of Colton, so here they are...ENJOY!

Here is Kesli chillin' with her daddy on Father's Day...she had the nasty heachache, sore throat cold that was going around and this was the first time she said "Owie Momma" to me. BROKE MY HEART!!!! Oh my, how we cried together for a few minutes in the rocking chair. But, thank goodness time flies in these cases and she is back to her normal cheerful self now:) Anyway, back to Colton...

Kesli and daddy on the "tractor." My cute, little princess baby girl is obsessed with tractors...just like her daddy! In fact, when she woke up Monday, she was soooo sick but she mustered up enough energy to say "tractor" so I took her out to the garage and she sat on the tractor for a minute. It was totally worth the few moments of happiness it brought her! Sicklets are no fun!!! And, back to Colton - again! (seems like all my posts center around Kesli?)

With all the rain this year, there haven't been many days fit for boating. I have busted Colton "Driveway Boating" several times this season and I was able to sneak a pic through the kitchen window during his last trip. This pic reminds me of my Grandpa Stew because he used to go "Driveway Trolling" in his boats. I miss him:) We are heading to Flaming Gorge for the 4th of July weekend so hopefully we can boat our little hearts out!

Well, Happy Father's Day again to the best Daddy and Husband 2 girls could ask for! We love you very, very much!

Hogle Zoo

Colton and I decided to take Kesli to the zoo on Saturday. Neither of us had been for several years and I can't believe how much it has changed!!! Where are all the flamingos? Anyway, I was pretty sure Kesli was going to love all of the animals but I was wrong...this was her favorite part of the zoo......

Yep, a "TRACTOR" as she calls them. The rest of the time she was happy sitting in her stroller eating snacks and sipping her water. Funny girl! Colton and I enjoyed ourselves too. Here are a few pictures of the day: I love the monkeys that look like skunks!

BoATiNg

We went to Bear Lake over Memorial Day this year and stayed on our boat. It rained pretty much all weekend and wasn't the most memorable trip (we had a few minor boat issues), but hey, we still had some fun! We spent most of the time on the docs, taking walks, and just hanging out. We fed the carp bread and Kesli LOVES bread so she was getting pretty upset because I wouldn't give her any. I didn't take any pics of us on all weekend and I'm not really sure why???

The next weekend we went to Pineview for a few hours and were able to have a little fun for a few hours. My sister and Colton's sister and her boys went with us. We did some knee boarding (well, most of us did) and tubing. Kesli rode the tube with me and Jessi and she loved it.
