Happy New Year 2010!

We spent New Year's Eve with our friends this year playing Rock Band and pool.  Kesli stayed the night with Grammy and the pups because she had a cold.  We missed her like crazy while we were watching the little girls play though!  This is Colton and Justin - best buds!

We had a very Merry Christmas!  I always seem to forget the family shots though, maybe next year?

No!  I'm not one of those mean moms who make their kids sit on Santa's lap.  We went to the lights at Willard Bay and I asked her if she wanted to go see Santa and sit on his lap.  She wanted to, and even said "I want Santa hold you" until we got to the tent and she could see Santa, which is when she said

"I know wike heem!"  But, we had to get a picture anyway!  That was a $5 candy cane:)

The Duke

Kesli and Duke - Where's her boots you ask? (She has 4 pairs!!!!)  Well, her cute little feet are too chunky and I can't get the darn things on!  Gonna have to go the boot stretcher guy I guess:)

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving at home this year with family.  We are so grateful for all that we have and for our angel Kesli Shay!  It's during this time of the year that we reflect upon all that we have including a warm house and food on the table.  It breaks my heart to think of others (and children) going hungry and out in the cold.  We truly are blessed and thankful for our friends and family and challenge you all to reach out to someone in need this holiday season - even if its grabbing a name off a tree at the bank or donating food and clothing to the homeless shelters.  Anything and everything goes a long way for someone with nothing!!
