*Merry Christmas - 2010*

We had another fantastic Christmas with family and friends.  I am ever so greatful for all that we have and the friendships we have been blessed with!

Kesli asked for a Princess Scooter this year up until a few days before Christmas.  I kept hoping people wouldn't ask her what she wanted so she wouldn't change her mind...but she did.  She told her Dad "I didn't want a Princess Scooter..." when she walked out and saw it Christmas morning.  He talked her in to it though, and she has been riding it through the house ever since!

Christmas in Wyoming

We went to Wyoming on the 23rd this year and spent the night.  It's always so fun to see the deer right out on the driveway!  My mother-in-law grains them so they are always hanging around waiting to eat.

Christmas is hard work...she was asleep before we hit the paved road...

Santa Pic 2010

We went to see the lights at Willard Bay again this year and Kesli really wanted to see Santa Claus.  Unfortunately, he had a heart attack earlier that day...so sad!!  They had a back-up Santa who was on his way for about an hour and a half.  Those reindeer were sure slow that night!  Finally Santa arrived and we were first in line.  This pic looks surprisingly similar to our Santa 2009 pic...  Oh well, maybe next year right?

For Grandpa Stew!

Colton, Cody and Kesli are downstairs watching the Jazz game tonight.  She is begging them to play poker, they finally give in and tell her she needs some money and ask her if she has a money bag.  To which she promptly replies, "Nope, I have a Money Pig though!"  I love being her Mom and I chuckled at the statement, knowing Grandpa would be chuckling too.  He and Grandma weren't able to meet her on earth, but I know they loved and cuddled her before they sent her down.  Grandpa, Jess and I always had a "thing" with pigs.  He taught us how to draw them, and his money was the first to hit Kesli's Money Pig.  I don't think I'll be able to call it a Piggy Bank anymore:)  I love that girl, she's growing up so fast.  And I love and miss my grandparents more than ever this time of year!

Kesli Cakes

I took Kesli to the barrel race this year for the Costume Contest.  She rode Mr. Dee and while they were making their rounds, everyone started clapping.  Mr. Dee spooked a little and my heart dropped!  He is not a small pony, he's huge!  But Kesli just held right on to the horn and told Jess "I'm ready to run barrels now!"  It didn't even scare her a bit, thank goodness!!! I think Mr. Dee hated the "sprinkles" we sprayed on him.
Here she is with her new boots on and the BEST I could talk out of her for a smile...
I can't believe how fast time is flying!  The holidays are upon us and I am so excited:)

FlaMing GoRge tUBing 2010

Sadly, a pretty bad windstorm blew in Sunday and the water was horrible ALL DAY LONG....which is perfect for tubing, but not much else.  We took advantage of it and had a blast! It's a good thing we didn't know what the night would bring.  It was so windy, we ended up having to load the boat so it didn't blow away.  It was tied to two stakes on the shore and tied to the hitch of Colton's truck.  There was no way we'd be able to sleep with wondering if we were going to blow away so we decided to load the boat.  BOAT + WIND = NEVER GOOD!  But, with everyone working together, we somehow managed to load without a ding, dent or scratch!  I was so happy once it was trailered that I almost cried.  I have no idea how Colton did it, it was unbelievable.  We were all pretty much exhausted at this point and Monday morning came and it was time to go home.  Until Next Year....

Then I gave the boys a turn:)  It was the best tubin our boat's ever seen...we had at least 3 cameras rolling the WHOLE time.  So funny to see them flyin around like rag dolls, well at least Travis!!!  Wind and white caps definately add to the tubing effects.

And, once wasn't enough, they put more air in the tube and back out they went...

LOL!!!!  Sheer terror...

This is Travis is wondering if he is still alive.

After the final ride - and you can bet they're not just lounging...

...Pri Sun Anyone?

Flaming Gorge 2010 Deck Hands

Not to be confused with "Dock Hands..."

We drive about 30 minutes or so in the boat to the big bay at Lucerne for the boat parade.  It's light when we leave, and this year we had a GPS so we marked our trail over so we could follow it on the way back.  It's quite the operation, as you'll see below...

Colton - GPS Man...

 Check out that multi-tasking!!!!

I didn't get a picture of the LOOK-OUT and SPOT-LIGHTER, but you can see their feet in the last pic.  Cody is the LOOK-OUT and we actually spotted BATS this year.  Bleh!  Jessi is the SPOT-LIGHTER.

Camp and Camp Fire

FlaMing GoRge Dock Hands 2010

Colton's floating docks were A-MAZING once again...and we didn't impale anyone on the t-posts this year!  The Dock Hands aren't too shabby either:)

Barefoot and in the dark!

...Colton on the Left, Cody on the Right...
And they stayed on their own sides the entire
                                                                                              trip...talk about creatures of habit!

This picture is a head-scratcher???  LOL!!!  ???

Sometimes they have contests to see who can tie their side off the fastest - and then celebrate!!! Cody Wins!
