I have a LoVe-HaTe relationship with....

VACCINES!!! Only because the one weekend I had finally planned a little vacation for me and Kesli, the wrath of the vaccines got the best of us!! We had planned on leaving Friday morning, and even Dramma (pronounced Draaaa - MA, not to be confused with drama...)was coming with us. Jessi was running barrels so we were headed down to cheer and shop. Well 4am comes along and my baby girl wakes up with a fever of 101.2. So, no mini vacation for us, instead just lots of cuddling and Tylenol. She is finally feeling better today, thank goodness. Sick babies are no fun!

SnOw DaY!

I know, I know, Spring has finally sprung and I am posting snow pics. Sorry, but I was actually really glad it snowed last Monday because Kesli hadn't ever been out to play in the snow yet, so it was a perfect photo op! P.S. She didn't even cry after the face plant:)

Happy 1st Birthday!

I can't believe our baby is 1 year old already!!! Time used to fly, I thought, until I became a mother, now it fies at triple the speed. Our little girl weighs 25 pounds and is 30 inches tall. She is constantly talking and will say pretty much anything anyone around her says. A few of her favorites: blankie, boo, Mommy, Dada, more, kitty, thank you, tractor, bapple (apple), ball, balloon, book, juice, Jess. My friend Destine watches her for me on Tuesdays and Thursdays and she taught her the sign for more, so we see and hear more, more, more a lot!! Thanks Destine for all your care and love for our little girl! Kesli loves anything sweet so she dug right into her cake! She loved it, I thought for sure she would have a belly ache, because she actually ate a lot of it, but she was fine! Must take after her mom in the treats category!

Our neighbors have a swimming pool so Kesli got to test it out a few times. I think she was a bit too young to really enjoy it. She did like to sit in the raft and splash for a minute, but that's it! I probably won't be able to get her out of it this year:)

JuSt HaTcHeD!

We were lucky enough to have Kesli Shay blessed on Easter last year. Colton's dad gave her a wonderful blessing and we had a great time in Wyoming for the day. This was a very special visit because it was the last time we had to visit with Grandma Tanner. I remember her saying, "She's a cute one!" over and over. She lost her battle with Alzheimer's Disease on April 4th, 2008. She used to play the cutest game with all the grand babies, which I just recently found out since Colton plays it with Kesli now. I have no idea what it was called but this is how it goes..."Forehead burner, eye winker, tom tinker, nose dropper, mouth eater, chin chopper, and a gully gully, gully, gully" So you touch the forehead, then each eye, then the nose, then the mouth, and the chin and the gullies are tickling underneath the chin. Kesli just giggles when he does this and he remembers Grandma Tanner playing it with him. She was truly a special lady!

Summer 2008

Wow - I can't believe how fast time flies!!! Here it is March and I haven't touched my blog since before Christmas. Sorry friends, you are gonna have a lot of catchin up to do! Here are some random summer pics...the sippy cup looks full of root beer, but it is apple prune juice, I promise! That stuff is a neccesity around here:)

HaLlOwEeN 2008

I bought the cutest little butterfly costume at Old Navy this year for Kesli and while I was at Target, I saw a Denver Bronco cheerleader outfit. I took the cute butterfly costume home to show Daddy and I just mentioned the cheerleader outfit, obviously we had to return the butterfly and go get the cheerleader. (For those of you not familiar with Colton - he is a die hard Bronco fan!!!) Kesli doesn't look to happy to be a Bronco (and based on their performance, I wouldn't be either) but she actually had an ear infection and didn't feel good. I also had to add the Daddy and Kesli eating licorice pics. I love the way she watches him!
