Cookies & Milk with Daddy

~Lincoln Logs with Daddy~

Kesli and her Daddy love to build barns with Lincoln Logs.  She knows that she can only get them out with Daddy and she'll ask him to play "Link Logs" with her every now and again.  While they were building their barn the other night, Kesli threw a Lincoln Log at Colton's head...we reviewed the "we don't throw things" rules and they went on building.  Several minutes later Kesli had to go potty and as I was walking down the hall with her she says, "That Lincoln Log bounced right off Daddy's head Mom!"  I was laughing SO hard...

I put Kesli down for her nap today and it always takes her a few minutes to read her books and settle down.  So, once she's been quiet for a minute I'll go and check on her.  This is what I found today:

Apparently Kesli drew the short straw and got stuck with the chair...?

I love being able to spend so much time with Kesli - I laugh at/with her every single day!

More Boating/Swimming

Kesli is loving swimming at the dam or the bay now, she wants me to just drop her in and let her go...no way!!  But, she is doing so good swimming by herself with her life jacket on.  It's amazing to see the difference in her from just May.  I love to watch her little legs kick and kick in the water.  Little baby girl is growing right up!

"Don't hold me Mom, I can do it all by myself..." 

So happy Mommy's not holding her!!!

Pool Pics

Our neighbors have a swimming pool and it rocks!!!  It's nice to not have to go to public pools, instead we just walk across the street.  Lounging with Daddy!
